Rainbow Vision Counsel came to consensus that the 2024 Annual Gathering will take place in California, Washington, or Oklahoma.
Crossing North America seeking sites for gathering can cost thousands in gasoline alone. Those that walk the land have long self-funded their own fuel for these considerable efforts, which can take months out of the year.
This year, we would like to try to provide at least some monetary support to those that walk the land, especially with this wide consensus area. We will also have a night of entertainment and enlightenment to help motivate fundraising on Saturday March 2, 9pm Eastern Time on http://bit.ly/everybodyszoom
Although we in the great lakes are not walking the land ourselves, all funds raised will be given directly to three people who have been walking the land for well over 70 years collectively, to be used for this year.
These individuals will then distribute to the larger circle of folks who are doing the work, buying the gas and maps and finding home.
The folks that verb will most likely spend many times this fundraiser amount in their endeavors this year. We can at least show them we care with a contribution to help cover a small portion of their costs.
